EMC appoints new director of manufacturing initiatives

The Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) has appointed Raf Khan as its director, manufacturing initiatives.

“Raf will be responsible for the successful delivery of manufacturing projects and programs,” says Jean-Pierre Giroux, president of EMC, in a statement.

In his new role, Khan will ensure that EMC’s projects are aligned with industry needs and the association’s strategic plan.

Khan joins EMC with more than 25 years of experience in project management and marketing and communications.

Previously, he held roles including manager of talent acquisition with NAV CANADA and manager of corporate recruitment strategy with Canada Post (CPC), where he worked on national recruitment strategies and modernizing corporate recruitment and section processes for management employees.
